Health rather than money is the issue worrying people most about old age, a poll for the BBC News website suggests. Poor health can play a major part in loneliness - if you aren't well enough to get out, you can become very isolated and depressed, another thing people dread about old age.
In fact, the BBC has reported this kind of story before (see my blog entry 3 March).
